What Is Startup Launchpad?
Startup Launchpad is a mini-accelerator which provides training and mentorship to entrepreneurs and startups to assist them in customer discovery research and commercial viability of their products, processes or services.
Those who have successfully completed the Launchpad program undergo continued coaching and mentoring, with advice on raising start-up funds and connections to additional resources to help with business launch.
How Does It Work?
Entrepreneurs commit to 4 training sessions that introduce them to lean startup methodology and guide them through customer discovery and value proposition development and testing. Throughout the program, entrepreneurs receive hands-on mentorship from experienced business owners and entrepreneurs as well as access to the University of Delaware's Horn Entrepreneurship Startup Village, SBDC and SBIR/STTR Funding resources, SBA resources and more....
How Much Does It Cost?
This program is currently free of charge to approved applicants. Cohorts are limited to a maximum of 10 entrepreneurs/startups per cohort.
Am I Eligible and How Can I Apply?
Anyone with a business idea is eligible! Interested applicants can either apply via the application form below. The DFI Board of Directors reviews business ideas and selects the entrepreneurs for each cohort.
